I run bespoke workshop style sessions in school and education settings.
I can work with whole classes, 1-2-1 or with small groups of children from as young as 3 or 4 all the way to older teens, to teach them about EFT Tapping, how to use it and how it can help them in their lives each day.
My sessions are designed to either be one off e.g. half or full day, or for more effective work - over a course of a half term or term focusing on specific issues. Topics that can be covered: test/exam nerves, anxiety, friendship issues, worry, post covid and lockdown anxiety and worries, anger and peer issues.
I combine my experience of teaching in the classroom and my training and practice as a EFT Practitioner using a mixture of EFT tapping, meditation, visualisation, breathing and calming techniques to support young people.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), will help students learn a self-management tool and emotional self-regulation skills. Tapping helps students learn to manage their feelings and behaviors and provides relief from anxiety, worry and other fears. Tapping also helps grow resilience by encouraging self-awareness and problem solving.
They learn how to problem-solve and overcome stressful barriers that can get in the way of learning. Studies have shown that stress can dampen concentration and memory, leading to a decrease in student engagement and motivated learning. Tapping can help children build the skills they need to succeed while lessening their sense of stress and anxiety.
Social and friendship issues are making their way into classrooms, interfering with students’ ability to learn. Tapping can be used to address social concerns that arise, allowing students the opportunity to self-address and solve their problems in an effective and healthy way, building on the social and emotional learning that is happening in the classroom. EFT Tapping, is an easy-to-use, easy-to-learn, quick, self-management technique. Because of this, research has shown that EFT is an effective tool for students in classroom situations.
